The NCF Leadership Summit took place on 14th October at Convene, Bishopsgate, London. This annual conference brings together CEO’s, NEDS, Trustees and other leaders across the NCF membership to connect, network and discuss important topics in social care. This year’s theme was ‘The Future of Care is Digital’ and was designed to help CEOs, NEDs, trustees and  senior leaders visualise the future of care. 

The day began with a networking breakfast sponsored by Flourish and delegates enjoyed breakfast whilst connecting with colleagues and exhibitors. Throughout the day, delegates could explore the diverse and immersive stands from sponsors and exhibitors which offered interactive demonstrations. Delegates could also attend breakout sessions, technology showcases and a technology launchpad which each focused on topics such as AI, data and cyber security.

The summit was full of inspirational panels and plenary sessions where our delegates heard from the likes of Liz Ashall Payne, Dr Annemarie Naylor and Tommy Henderson-Reay. Speakers shared strategies and insights into what digital care for the future may look like and delegates were invited to engage in discussions with speakers.  

The summit invited CEOs, NEDs, Trustees and other leaders to explore the potential of technology in improving social care for the people who draw on care and support. There was a clear, shared vision to discover what the future of care looks like for care and support providers.
