Green Funding Opportunities
There is funding available for energy saving improvements, infrastructure and other projects which will help your organisation become greener. These are normally in the form of grants, loans or vouchers. Government grants are available for green initiatives and other organisations (like Ofgem for example) sometimes administer these, plus there are lots of opportunities from other sources such as the national lottery and local initiatives. Some are for very specific purposes, and some will be dependent on what kind of organisation you are.

On a local level, it’s worth asking your local council if they provide energy efficiency funding or sustainable business growth grants. You will normally need to submit a business case to apply. LEP Growth Hubs offer advice guidance and networking for local businesses, and sometimes offer grants locally. They normally signpost local funding opportunities if they don’t offer them themselves.
Some more ambitious or pioneering projects may be eligible for business innovation funding.
