Sanctuary Supported Living awarded hat-trick of ‘Outstanding’ ratings

Sanctuary Supported Living has strengthened its position as one of the

country’s leading providers of supported housing following the award of its third ‘Outstanding’ rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

Since December, three Sanctuary Supported Living services have all been bestowed with the highest honour from the social care regulator for their commitment to delivering exceptional levels of care and support.

Clover Court in Lowestoft, Tilmore Gardens in Petersfield, Hampshire, and Corner House Residential Care Home in Mansfield have all been rated as ‘Outstanding’ following impromptu inspections.

Sara Keetley, Operations Director for Sanctuary Supported Living, said: “To have been recognised with three ‘Outstanding’ ratings in such a short space of time by the CQC is testament to the amazing work of our services.

“Staff continually go above and beyond to ensure we are delivering person-centred support and care to all of our residents.”

Sanctuary has an extensive national portfolio of more than 350 supported living services and supports around 6,000 people each year.

Sara Keetley continued: “I am extremely proud of everyone who has played a part in achieving these ratings.

“Sanctuary Supported Living has a broad range of services across the country and I firmly believe that even more will be recognised in this way in the future.”

Clover Court, which provides 24-hour care and support for people with physical disabilities, was praised for providing a safe, “outstandingly well-led” and “exceptionally caring” service.

Staff at Tilmore Gardens, where accommodation and care is provided for 10 people with learning disabilities, were commended for treating residents with “kindness, care and respect”.

At Corner House Residential Care Home, which provides care and support for 11 adults with learning disabilities, inspectors highlighted a commitment to safety and personalisation.
