NCF Consult helps adult social care providers find high quality consultants, offering a wide range of specialist support, to save you time and money in searching and interviewing.  All consultants have worked in the adult social care sector and have been specially selected by NCF in our rigorous application process.

You do not have to be a member to benefit from this service although NCF members are entitled to discounted rates.



We work with you to make the appointment as easy as possible:

  1. to help you scope the brief detailing your objectives, milestones, considerations and budget,
  2. match you to the right consultant with the relevant skill set and also the right ‘chemistry’,
  3. offer a 3-way call to make the introduction, discuss the brief and help resolve any concerns.

As a new member of NCF we were pleased to discover the capability of NCF Consult and have already used it for a pre-CQC inspection. It resulted in a very thorough report and list of recommended actions. Later in the year we intend to use NCF Consult for a Trustee training session. We've found NCF to be very responsive and we look forward to deepening our use of their information and other support  services.

The NCF Consultants came in before a CQC inspection in one of our Registered Care Homes, and spent the day at the service. They were very professional, knowledgeable and thorough. We already had an action plan in place around compliance and improvement, and the NCF provided us with ‘fresh eyes,’ giving us the opportunity to identify the areas we needed more specific focus on. While having a newly Registered Manager in post, new staff members and the stress of the imminent CQC inspection, it was an extremely useful exercise to give us confidence and focus to ensure that the manager, the team and the service presented as well-organised, focused and competent and positively against the KLOEs. It was well received by our staff and residents, and we are grateful for the effective advice and recommendations that have had a positive impact on the way we work and our CQC rating.
