NCF Caring in COVID project
About the National Care Forum Caring in COVID project
The National Care Forum (NCF) is the membership organisation for not-for-profit organisations in the care and support sector. It supports its members to improve social care provision and enhance the quality of life, choice, control and wellbeing of people who use care services.
An important part of the legacy of the COVID-19 pandemic is the role played by NCF members. To help record and highlight the incredible response by them, we reached out to members so we could bring together these Caring Heroes stories in this ebook.
Caring in COVID consists of five categories, and each category section can be a book in its own right. The five highly commended stories, one in each category, was judged on reader impact, impact on the person receiving care, originality and value to the sector.
This ebook has been created with the generous support of NCF Annual Partners – Marr Procurement, Person Centred Software and Quality Compliance Solutions, and we are delighted to share their Caring in COVID stories in this book too.
Please note: some of images used in this book were taken pre-COVID and they do not represent the COVID measures our members have worked so hard to put in place.
Due to time constraints and the very quick turnaround of creating this publication, we were unable to include all 150 plus stories submitted from members.
All submitted stories were worthy of inclusion, so please find below the many other equally brilliant and inspirational Caring in COVID stories.
