The recent headlines from the National Audit Office report has revealed the profiteering that characterised the rush to supply PPE to the Social Care Industry during the Coronavirus crisis.
NCF Annual Partner, Marr Procurement donated all of its PPE profits back to 14 Social Care organisations including 6 charities.
Additionally, Marr Procurement re-directed all profits on PPE by providing pro bono procurement services/resource for our customers and non-customers as well as using some of the money to sponsor the NCF Caring in Covid ebook.
Their total donation of just over £70,000 also included buying and giving away free PPE stock (35000 masks) to multiple customers, such as The Disabilities Trust, Healthcare Homes, Lifeways Group, Caremark and Methodist Homes to name just a few, which we highlighted back in July.
