Not-for-profit quality care for over 25 years

Care isn’t 9 to 5 and neither is Log my Care’s new 24/7 support

Carers don’t just work 9 to 5, and neither do Log my Care’s Support Team who are now on hand 24/7 to offer help. If something goes wrong in the middle of the night, care providers have one less thing to worry about with their 24-hour live chat.

“Care services, carers and the people they care for continue to be under enormous pressure as we emerge from the pandemic. We hope our 24/7 support will give them the reassurance they need to manage the night shift.” Sam Hussain, Founder & CEO at Log my Care

24/7 support is the latest initiative launched by Log my Care to make care providers’ lives easier. During the pandemic, the team behind the digital care management platform created COVID dashboards, to monitor everything from coughs to PCR test results. When restrictions prevented people from seeing their loved ones in care, they responded by launching a Family Module to help care providers keep families up-to-date with their relative’s care, wellbeing and health.

But it doesn’t stop there. Ensuring care providers’ service users understand the plans put in place for them is one of its top priorities. In 2021, Log my Care updated its Care Plans & Risk Assessments Module to enable the addition of digital signatures to care/support plans. Additionally, the team spent the first quarter of last year building an electronic medication administration record (eMAR) system. Making medication administration easier and more efficient improves processes, eliminates mistakes and reduces risk to clients.

Diane, the Registered Manager at The Old Hall, shares her team’s reaction to Log my Care, “The staff love it and took to it like ducks to water. Even our senior staff who are 50+ are managing the platform brilliantly.” And now Diane and her team can be assured that if they ever need help, Log my Care is available 24/7 to offer support.

After all, research shows that going digital saves carers and managers vast amounts of time spent on admin, freeing them up to spend more time delivering care.

Founded in 2017 by Sam Hussain in response to the growing pressure on the UK care sector, Log my Care is digital care management made simple. Sam’s mission, to make people-centred technology accessible to everyone in social care, eliminates the need for paper records, saves time and improves the quality-of-care delivery.
