John Wearing 

John retired from Anthony Collins Solicitors, after 30 years as a partner, at the end of April 2023, having established their nationally recognised Health and Social Care practice. He now focuses on the provision of commercial and governance advice to senior teams and trustees in the Social Care sector, working with a network of highly respected individuals to deliver advice and support on all aspects of providers’ opportunities and threats. 

Zoe McCullum

Zoe is an experienced senior leader in the third sector, inspiring operational teams to deliver the strategic plan across a multi-site social care organisation. Overseeing quality and compliance, contracts, care, health & safety, volunteers, wellbeing activities and technology, whilst ensuring that the organisation is commercially viable. I have implemented innovative digital transformations and grown the reputation of previous organisations I have been a part of, partnering with stakeholders Southampton University, the NCF and the Department of Health & Social Care.  With a background as registered mental health nurse with over 30 years’ experience, I am a champion for health and social care and improving the lives of others. 

Tracy Paine

Experienced executive and Board director within the not-for-profit nursing and social care sector. Retired registered nurse professional with a Masters in Business Management and Gerontology. Former Deputy CEO and founder of Belong care villages – a dementia specialist care organisation. Dementia design experience. Churchill Fellow. MBE for services to Dementia care.

Raj Shroff

Raj has over 30 years’ experience in the Care and Support sector starting as a volunteer in a large Direct Access Hostel for homeless men and leaving a Midlands based Housing Association as Director of its Supported Services and Deputy Director of Care and Support.  He is a director of a consultancy company working with organisations who deliver care and support services in the public, private and voluntary sector. 

Raj has an MBA and an Executive Leadership Certificate awarded by Cranfield University’s School of Management.  He is a Non-Executive Director of a CIC supported housing association having previously served on a national learning disabilities charity board, been a director of a bond scheme and a trustee of two local homelessness charities. He is currently a custody visitor for West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner and a Cadet Forces Instructor. 

Commercially focussed Raj is interested in ensuring Care and Support services are viable and are quality driven for focussed outcomes for customers. Having managed budgets in excess of £30million pa with hundreds of staff and been a New Business Manager, Raj has the ability to see solutions to problems and deliver operationally to strategic objectives. 

Raj has a keen interest in enabling colleagues to see the potential for services when they are efficiently resourced and is passionate about futureproofing services. 

Sara Beamand

Sara has over 30 years’ experience within the care and supported housing environment, and prior to this worked in general needs housing. 

Sara is a director of a consultancy company working with organisations who deliver care and support services in the public, private and voluntary sector, having previously been the executive director of care and support for a large midlands housing association delivering care and support services to a wide range of customer groups, prior to this having spent 12 years as head of older people’s services delivering retirement and extra care housing, care and support services to older people. Sara has extensive experience of working within the regulatory framework of CQC as a nominated individual and managing large numbers of registered services.   

Since 2018 Sara held the role of Interim CEO of a learning disability charity providing registered care homes and domiciliary care services in the community, along with working with organisations to improve quality services in care homes and extra care services whilst delivering safe and viable homes.  

Sara is a non-executive director of a large international older persons Housing Association and sits on the care and support committee of a national housing association also having served as a statutory appointee to a housing board on behalf of the housing regulator.  

Sara has a real passion for the delivery of high-quality person-centred care and support services which deliver excellent outcomes to all individuals receiving services.

Sharon McNamara

I am a retired Registered Nurse with over 40 years experience in the healthcare Industry. I have a vast knowledge in care of the elderly/Dementia after many years in the nursing home sector ranging from General Manager/Commissioning Manager /Operations Manager and Operational Support Manager supporting services with day to day business operations. I spent 8 years in Health and Social Care recruitment, again progressing from Consultant being promoted to Branch Manager and then to Area Manager. I was part of the team that developed nursing and homecare within this period of time I worked in Social Care recruitment.

My skills are very strong when it comes to business development, team development, supporting new managers within their role, mock inspections, troubleshooting and turning around failing businesses. I am an excellent communicator with extensive background that has made me successful in working collaboratively with the NHS, ICB’s, Local Authorities and other professional bodies. I am also a member of the Royal College of Nursing
