Rachel Jones

Rachel joined Jewish Care in May 2021 from Sunridge Court where she held the role of Executive Director.

Rachel’s first role with Jewish Care was as the Head of Housing and Domiciliary Care and in March 2022 she has taken up the role of Director of Care Services, Housing and Hospitality.

Rachel has worked in Social Care for her entire career. Starting out in care roles, she found a true passion for working with older adults and translated that into leadership within care homes and housing associations. Rachel has championed high standards of care and is looking forward to continuing this work throughout the Jewish Care homes and Retirement Living resources.

Before joining Jewish Care, Rachel volunteered for numerous communal organisations and enjoyed working on projects with younger people and families. Rachel has focussed on her own professional development throughout her career and in 2019 completed the Dangoor Senior Leadership Programme.

Rachel lives in Bushey with her husband, daughter and stepdaughter. In her spare time Rachel nurses, her diverse collection of indoor plants and can always be found working on her precious garden with her husband. Rachel enjoys cooking and exploring flea markets around the world. Rachel’s husband is Australian so the family visit as often as they can and vice versa.
