Laurie Monaghan

Laurie joined NCF in August 2023. She worked in adult social care as a support worker before going to university, developing understanding of nursing and residential care, daycentre care and enablement in the community. After this she gained a BSc (Hons) in Natural Sciences – Physics and Geography from the University of Nottingham. Since graduating she has gained experience in social research.

Her key interests are in climate change, the environment and social policy and her role is to help develop NCF’s approach to environmental sustainability, as well as supporting the team with other work.
