Alison is a values led senior leader with over 15 years’ experience at executive level across the charity, housing, and social care sectors. She currently leads two specialist organisations providing accommodation and support for people with learning disabilities, autism, sensory loss, acquired brain injuries and complex needs.
A passionate advocate for person centred care, Alison has a strong track record of strategic leadership, service transformation and governance reform. Under her leadership, both New Outlook and Vision Homes have expanded their supported living provision, strengthened CQC outcomes, and embedded innovative co-production approaches shaped by lived experience and person-led values.
Alison brings extensive board level experience, having served as a Trustee, Company Secretary, and Vice Chair across several national charities. She chaired a regional membership organisation for Age Concern, where she fostered collaboration across a federated structure, led on governance alignment, and chaired the committee for development, growth and charity retail. She has also held non-executive roles in advice, advocacy, and sensory impairment services.
With a background in financial services and a Master’s in Executive Leadership and Strategic Management, Alison brings a strong blend of commercial acumen and social purpose. A former financial adviser, she has also led charity trading arms and driven commercial development initiatives across charity retail, and fundraising.
