NCF announces appointment of new Policy Director
The National Care Forum (NCF) is pleased to announce the appointment of Liz Jones as our new Director of Policy. Liz, who will be joining us on the 7th May, brings with her a wealth of expertise across care, housing support and local and national government.
Her experience in the health and social care sector equips her with a sound understanding of the policy landscape and the operating environment for social care providers in the not for profit sector.
Vic Rayner, NCF Executive Director said of her appointment;
“I am really looking forward to working with Liz as we focus on the big changes facing the care sector in the years ahead. Liz brings with her detailed understanding of both the implementation of best practice and innovation, alongside an in-depth knowledge of both working in and influencing national and local government. Key ingredients for supporting the NCF membership in having their voice and ambition heard.”
Liz Jones said;
“I am delighted to be joining Vic and the team at NCF as their Policy Director. I am really looking forward to working with all our members, listening and learning from them all, helping to share and showcase all that they do and championing their voice. I am honoured to be taking over from the amazing Sharon Blackburn and will work hard to maintain and build on all that she achieved for the NCF and our members.”
Liz will join our growing team, further strengthened by the recent appointment of two Digital Transformation Leads – Claire Sutton and Tommy Henderson-Reay.
