After the general election results of 12 December 2019 delivered a Conservative majority, it is imperative that the new government moves with speed to address social care reform.

The NCF has re-launched its ‘Manifesto’ as its ‘Policy Agenda’ for the new government. The Conservatives must recognise the importance of social care, the need for an immediate 3-5 year funding settlement now as the start of a long-term funding solution and a long-term vision for social care shaped by those who use it now, and in the future.
