WCS is an independent, not for profit care provider, every day we invite people to choose the things they want to do and try new opportunities so that every day is well lived. We began operating over 25 years ago with a philosophy that put people at the heart of everything we do. It has shaped us into what we are today and continues to be the benchmark of the care we provide. We understand that everyone is different and what matters to our residents is what matters to us. We don’t try to make things extraordinary, we recognise that it is the ordinary, everyday things that matter most.

WCS currently has 13 homes around Warwickshire. 11 of our homes specialise in residential care and care for people living with a dementia. 2 of our homes provide residential care for younger adults. We also provide day care, respite care and short stay within the same building.

Our staff teams are skilled and enthusiastic people who find their roles rewarding and enjoyable which enables us to offer care with a truly friendly and personal touch. We believe in creating an environment where we care for everyone and that includes our staff. Carers share our values and work together to maintain them across the organisation. We believe that people with dementia should remain active and engaged with regular opportunities for socialising and participation.

We use the Alzheimer’s Society Person Centred Standards Audit to assess and provide a comprehensive, unique care package for every resident, setting out what support is required and how it is delivered. We always involve residents and those close to them in planning their care to help us understand the person and the things that make them unique.
