The HICA Group was established in 1992 and is an Industrial and Provident Society with Charitable status. The organisation employs over 1,400 staff and is based in Hull.
HICA consists of three separate ‘not for profit’ businesses:
Care Homes: Providing care to older people and adults with a learning disability located throughout East Yorkshire, Hull, North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire.
Home Care: Providing domiciliary care from 5 branches located in Hull, Bridlington, Grimsby, Doncaster and Bradford.
Retirement Properties: Providing retirement housing for the over 55’s in purpose built communities. Sites under construction include 143 unit retirement village in Hedon, East Yorkshire.
