We are an independent not-for-profit, information, advice and guidance company for the social care sector in Norfolk and Waveney. We were established in 2002 by care providers for care provider. We promote and support the delivery of health and social care excellence through access to funding and impartial advice and guidance. We have been matrix accredited since 2008.

We support the health and social care market to develop skills, knowledge and values of the paid and unpaid workforce by:

• Raising the profile of care pathways and career development
• Providing the best workforce development Information, Advice and Guidance
• Encouraging innovation and continuous improvement of services in the care sector
• Gathering intelligence to develop and influence strategic workforce development

Encouraging collaboration in integrated working with key partners in the health and social care sector

We communicate weekly with 525 regulated care providers in Norfolk and Waveney, including residential, nursing, housing with support, extra care and domiciliary (home care). We also reach day services and Individual Employers in Norfolk (over 1,000 services).

We are a lead contractor for Skills for Care in Norfolk distributing Workforce Development Funding. We also visit schools, colleges, attend career fairs and skills events promoting social care as a career, working with partners in health, education, DWP and the voluntary sector.
