As a well-established housing association, MTVH owns, manages and administers over 57,000 properties across the East Midlands, East of England, South Yorkshire, London and South East. MTVH is a member of the G15 largest Housing Associations in London.
As well as providing general needs social rented units, MTVH specialises in shared-ownership, keyworker housing, retirement living, and care and support.
Our care and support services support the following vulnerable groups:
Learning disabilities: Our person-centred provision ranges from low level community support to 24-hour support within CQC registered supported living schemes. Of our 21 CQC registered services, 16 are CQC ‘Good’ rated and 4 await inspection. CQC registered services comprise both accommodation-based schemes and personal care. Support empowers customers to develop new skills and increase independence. We also deliver positive behaviour support to help individuals to manage behaviours that challenge, where appropriate.
Older people: We provide accommodation and support for over 5,000 older customers, enabling individuals to maintain independent living and remain an active participant in the community. Our services include sheltered accommodation and CQC registered Extra Care. We support individuals with (re)enablement, advice and signposting, hospital discharge, skills development and daily living.
Mental health: Nationally, we deliver over 20 services for people with mental health support needs, including dual diagnosis, forensic histories and complex needs. We provide time limited support to enable individuals to self-manage conditions and develop independent living skills.
Transitional Pathway Services: these include services to support people experiencing homelessness, domestic abuse, and refugees and asylum seekers, including accommodation-based services, both externally commissioned and funded by Metropolitan’s Migration Foundation.
