Broughton House has been providing care to veterans for over one hundred years and endeavours to do so for many years to come. 2018/2091 saw the commencement of the construction of the Broughton House – Veteran Care Village, which will be the UK’s first Veteran Care Village; replacing our existing building with a state of the art Care Village delivering a trinity of services:-
- 64 bedded registered nursing & dementia home
- Assisted & Independent living apartments
- Charity and Armed Forces Support
As the only Care Home in the North West delivering dedicated veteran care, the need to expand and diversify our level of care is paramount to meet the growing and changing needs of veterans both now and in the future.
We are delighted that Broughton House has now taken ownership of Phase 1A. The Residents and Staff recently moved into the UK’s first Veteran Care Village. The Village is designed to meet the care and support needs of the veteran community from the moment they leave the armed forces until their final days.
