
“End of the Pier show?” – it’s just begun!

Trains, boats, & big hungry Otters!

This year’s started with a trip to Lakes Aquarium and the Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway! A morning spent with several tours round the Aquarium -at different speeds and levels of excitement! Plus lots of fun watching the Otters being fed (or was it the other way round – the Otters watching us feed -was a close call?)

In the afternoon the adventure continued -this time by heritage rail on the Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway.
Momentous day in many ways
It was also the end of an era for some of the young people who have attended our trips over the years – this was the final adventure for Madalena & Leo – age is catching up with them! We will miss their presence!

On the bus back an impromptu survey was conducted -and the group gave a resounding 10 out of 10 for such a fab day…..can’t argue with that!
