Terry’s All Gold – This is Your Life!

Earlier this week ( Here we told you all about the living legend that is Terry Todd -who has been with Oaklea for two decades and is now moving on.

The love and well wishes from employees past & present and those who knew him we’re overwhelming.

To give him a proper send off – a party was held in his honour – with a cowboy theme as he and pals Alan Des who he lived with at Oaklea loved old westerns!

Alex Mayo-Williams, now Registered Manager for Oaklea South Lakes – but began her Oaklea life supporting Terry struggled to wipe the tears….


“Well, as I sit in the car taking Terry to Barrow, I have memories coming back of times we spent together, after supporting him for 16 years. It is a bittersweet day, Terry is such a character, funny, caring, and gentle! We will miss him dearly! Terry, we salute you Sheriff.”

Own goal – Liverpool FC – no thanks Des!

Terry’s departure nearly went to Extra Time. Long time friend, housemate and lover of all things red, Des, tries a last minute attempt to persuade Terry to support Liverpool FC! Some things are best left behind!
