Not-for-profit quality care for over 25 years

Start a new career with Brunelcare. Waverley Gardens needs you!

Taking place Wednesday 2nd November, 11 am – 3 pm, at Waverley Gardens Extra Care Housing site in Bishopsworth; Waverley Gardens will host its second all-day recruitment event allowing people to register their interest in a career in the care sector.

Waverley Gardens Extra Care Site is a large extended site that houses 128 self-contained cosy apartments, all purpose-built with the over 55’s in mind. The tenants that live at Waverley Gardens are mainly independent, however, some of the tenants have additional needs. All apartments come with a built in pull cord/alarm button system in case the tenants need urgent care assistance.

The extension project of 62 self-contained flats was completed in March 2020, and saw the Waverley Gardens site double in size with additional employees starting at the site after Waverley Gardens’ first successful recruitment event!

Laura Hartry, Care Centre Manager, said: “The recruitment day is a really relaxed drop in session where people who are interested in a new career as a carer can come along and find out more information about the role and more information about Brunelcare. We can’t wait to welcome everyone to Waverley Gardens again!”

The recruitment event is running as a drop-in session whereby those interested in a career at Brunelcare’s Waverley Gardens can find out more information about extra care housing job roles and talk to some existing carers at the event. People interested in a career in care at Waverley Gardens, can apply via paper application or online there and then at the recruitment event!

Brunelcare canvas bags, pens and leaflets about Waverley Gardens will be available for free at the event. Free coffee, tea and cake will also be available for people to enjoy!

Children and partners are welcome at the event, and booking isn’t necessary. Just drop by to find out more information about a brand new career with Brunelcare.
