Sanctuary Care’s Juniper House Turns 10 – Mayor of Worcester Crowns Classic Car Champions

A Worcester care home, Juniper House, marked a major milestone this weekend, celebrating their 10th anniversary with a vibrant community event in support of Mental Health UK.

The celebration took the form of a Classic Car Carnival, drawing crowds from across the neighbourhood. Guests enjoyed a display of vintage vehicles, refreshing mocktails, and live music that filled the air with energy and nostalgia.

A highlight from the day was the visit from the Mayor of Worcester, Cllr Dr Matt Lamb, and his wife, who joined the festivities to announce the winners of the classic car competition.

“I’m incredibly proud of everything Juniper House has achieved over the past 10 years,” said Sanctuary Care’s Roksana Senanayake. “This milestone is a testament to the dedication, compassion, and teamwork of everyone at the home.”

The event raised awareness and funds for Mental Health UK, Sanctuary Care’s charity of the year.
