There wasn’t a bad hair day in sight at Dene Holm Residential Care Home in Northfleet this week, as staff treated residents to some New Year hair dos.
Residents of the Dene Holm Road care home let their hair down this week, with a New Year trip to the home’s salon and staff ensured there wasn’t a hair out of place as they dished out makeovers.
With the home’s usual hairdresser still unable to come and visit the residents due to lockdown, our multi talented staff decided to try their hand at a new skill and set up shop in the home’s salon.
Residents were able to take a seat in the much-missed hairdresser’s chair and enjoy a spot of pampering, a lovely New Year treat, which was sure to leave them feeling refreshed and relishing their new look.
Christine Hutchinson, Home Manager of Dene Holm said: “We’re all missing our visitors and in particular, our hairdresser, who used to come in several times a week. You can’t underestimate the power of a trip to the salon and what a great pick me up it can be, the residents were over the moon with their new looks!”
