Meet Jean Kilpatrick – she’s the latest addition to our social care team in South Lakes -and is our new Team Manager supporting customers and employees (at reputedly) one of Kendal’s oldest properties!

Jean has previously worked with complex needs and is looking forward to putting her stamp on her new location!
All work and no play….
So relaxing -this could catch on…..there’s always time for that essential to refresh the parts….that’s teamwork!

The customers have already got to know Jean -and she’s getting used to her new ‘home’ from home.
They’ve been busy – they’ve sprung spring!
Jean has helped get a gardening project underway. Customers Sonia and George have started growing some corn! In addition, local company, Mardix, have kindly donated old pallets to build compost areas, and customers are going to start tidying up their communal garden! They will also be growing their own veg (hopefully) and use this in their house.
The managerial answer is blowin’ in the wind…Registered Area Manager Alex ‘ Mayo’ Williams is pleased to see how well Jean has settled in so quickly. It was a bit breezy when we caught up with her – which ironically links to the description she gives Jean! (and watch out for Jean blowing by photobomb style!)
