Residents of Edward Moore House Residential Care Home in Gravesend made the most of the glorious spring sunshine, by spending the day in the garden.
The sunny weather isn’t just brightening up the sky this week, as the rising temperatures have brought some joy to the residents at the Trinity Road care home too.
The residents spent a day soaking up the sun in the garden, both relaxing and getting some green fingered jobs done. They took their morning tea outside, with the staff setting up their finest china on the shaded tables, the residents enjoyed their morning ritual of tea and biscuits with the sun shining down and not a cloud in the sky.
After a relaxing morning, the residents got stuck into some gardening jobs. They spent a while potting plants, some welcome new additions to the garden, ready for the summer months ahead.
Melanie Martin, Deputy Manager of Edward Moore House said: “We are very lucky to have such a lovely garden here and the residents really love being out there during the warmer months.
“With summer quickly approaching, we’re enjoying getting it ship-shape so the residents and their visitors can spend more time out here and enjoy their environment.”
