Nightingale Hammerson is delighted to share that Dr Ally Tomlins has been appointed Joint Academic Director of the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy) at University College London (UCL). This is one of the most highly regarded clinical psychology training programmes in the UK and internationally recognised for its research excellence and leadership in developing the next generation of clinical psychologists.

Dr Tomlins will continue to lead the psychology service at Nightingale Hammerson. This will ensure that residents, relatives and staff benefit from the latest evidence-based practice and innovations in psychological care. Her appointment to this prestigious academic role strengthens the close partnership between cutting-edge university training and our community. The role will continue to enhance opportunities for collaborative research, staff development, and the integration of pioneering approaches that support our vision of enabling residents to live their best chapters of life.
