Residents of Rogers House Residential Care Home in Wigmore got together last week to enjoy some cheese, wine and a very gouda time.
With the cold darker evenings drawing in, the residents of the Drewery Drive home were treated to a cosy autumn evening in when staff hosted a cheese and wine evening.
Served alongside a lovely glass of port, the residents were invited to sample an array of cheeses, accompanied by biscuits and some lovely and fresh red grapes.
Tucking into the treats on offer, the residents discussed their favourites and enjoyed a good old natter between them, whilst staff topped up their glasses of port.
Jackie Miles, Home Manager of Rogers House said: “The residents had a lovely evening trying the different cheeses and enjoying the accompanying wine of course. This is a lovely autumn activity and something we look forward to doing again soon.”
