
Winchester-based charity, The Brendoncare Foundation is delighted to announce that residents and staff at Brendoncare Froxfield have now received their first Covid-19 vaccinations.
A team from Ramsbury Surgery in Rambury, Marlborough visited Brendoncare Froxfield care home to give some of their residents and staff the vital injection. Their second vaccination will be given in due course.
Maria Wegner, Home Manager at Brendoncare Froxfield, said, “We are so grateful to the team at Ramsbury Surgery for coming to us to administer the vaccinations, as many of our residents wouldn’t be able to visit the surgery. Our residents and their families are delighted that the first vaccinations have now been received.
“It gives us all hope and we can now see a bit of light at the end of the tunnel.”
Brendoncare Froxfield is run by Winchester-based charity, The Brendoncare Foundation. It is situated between Hungerford and Marlborough and is a nursing home which caters for 44 residents and includes a specialist 11 bed dementia care household. Froxfield has been specifically designed to enable older people to live independent, happy and fulfilling lives.
