Bangin’ weekend reaches new heights!

Oaklea’s vision is to…”Deliver the finest opportunities in the kindest possible way

Tis why we – Seek a higher plane…

Well we certainly achieved this in many ways.

Reaching the Highest Point

“Six…yes SIX hours of solid dancing!” Kerry-Ann Stephenson from Oaklea with sore dancing feet!

The evidence for the jury is in – yup……..Grace went for it!

Grace from Learning2Live in Windermere had a fab time (you’d never tell!) over two boogie based days at Highest Point Festival in Lancaster with Oaklea’s legend of the shades, Kerry-Ann.

Beth -she’s a force to be reckoned with!

Whilst Grace from Learning2Live was in Lancaster….some of her housemates made the most of the glorious evening sunshine and headed to Ambleside and Stock Ghyll Force. You can see Beth and Jordan with L2L Team member Anna (‘from Germany’).

Birthday salutations – “Cake – for me? Yum yum!”

If that wasn’t enough – earlier in the day Kian from L2L celebrated his first birthday at the Windermere house! Kerry-Ann acting as his protective ‘candle in the wind’.

Now showing for shade seeking characters!

Meanwhile not to be left in the shade in Furness – the entertainment was very much indoors for these two fine chaps!

Oaklea’s Ashleigh Storey: “Some of our people from Barrow having a great time at Saturday cinema. Mark and Robert blinding us with their knees and keeping cool in the cinema watching IF.”

For those about to Rock

The weekend started and ended on a rockin’ vibe….Kelvin had his head in the bass bins for an AC/DC tribute band at Kanteena, Lancaster! If you want Kelvin – you got him!

The evidence shows – the grass is greener with Oaklea

From AC/DC to ‘Green Day‘ – In fact wear it green is the theme for this year’s Mental Health Awareness Week – Click on this link for more info https://www.mentalhealth.org.uk/our-work/public-engagement/mental-health-awareness-week (they are also promoting the idea of ‘movement’ and being active – we think Grace def does that with her dancing!)
