Christmas is coming and we’ve got a feast of festive fun on What To Do. From Strictly Come Dancing Stars to Bake Off legends, we’re DOing this Yule in style with the 12 Do’s Of Christmas!
There’s a session with a festive flavour every day from Tuesday 13th December right up to Christmas Eve. All activities are free to people who receive care and support and there’s some real treats lined up.
We begin with a festive Strictly Come Dancing experience with professional dancer – and What To Do favourite – Vincent Simone on 13th December. There’s a special edition of our Games Club with players from Super League heroes Warrington Wolves direct from Halliwell Jones Stadium the next day. We then get dancing to some Christmas songs with Nicola for a festive edition of Accessible Dance Club and finish the week with a Bake Along with Great British Bake Off’s Howard Middleton.
Over the weekend, we’ll be mixing merry mocktails with a professional mixologist and you can book a visit from Santa Claus himself on Sunday 18th December. Book a virtual visit here now.
On Monday’s Social Club, performer Ashleigh Owen will be putting her own spin on some familiar Christmas favourites. We welcome back Opera Singer Caroline Kennedy who leads a Christmas singalong on Wednesday 21st, after the drama club takes inspiration from classic Christmas movies on Tuesday.
Thursday sees our own King of Rock N Roll, Elvis tribute star Paul Nicol put on a Christmas concert for us and Friday and Saturday we create Christmas crafts and dance the night away with DJ Ged respectively.
