Healthwatch is an independent statutory body tasked with championing the views of people accessing health and care services to NHS leaders and other decision makers. They will be a key partner to engage with in ICS areas because the Health and Care Act 2022 requires Integrated Care Partnerships to involve local Healthwatch organisations in the creation of Integrated Care Strategies.
