Moving on from COVID – sharing all the amazing things that older people’s care homes are doing to help residents, relatives & staff move on
Thank you for attending the Moving on from COVID-19 webinar on Monday (29 November 2022).
We found it incredibly helpful and informative and look forward to sharing your stories/top tips with other care homes for the benefit of residents, relatives and staff. However, we will only do this, with your permission.
It has been suggested that we set up a Moving on from COVID-19 WhatsApp Group so that you can continue to share your stories with each other.
If this is something that interests you, then please can you download and complete the form via the button below and return to me (j.meyer@city.ac.uk) to say that you will abide by the principles of the group, namely:
- Respect the purpose (share stories/top tips about what you are doing to help residents, relatives, and staff during these difficult times)
- Develop best practice together (provide verified, reputable information from your experience)
- Focus on relationships (support others in the WhatsApp group feel a sense of security, belonging, continuity, purpose, achievement, and significance)
- Be appreciative (focus on what people value most and what works)
- Have caring conversations (be kind to one another and show understanding)
Once again, I’d like to thank you for participating in the webinar – it is very much appreciated.
If you have any other stories you would like to share, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
The Improving Experience Template form, which you can download below, will to help share your story, but please don’t feel obliged to use it!
We look forward to hearing from you.
