Marketing and Communications in-Person Away Day

The next meeting with the NCF Marketing and Communications Communities of Practice Forum will be in-person at Salesforce Tower in London on 23rd April.
Not only is this a fantastic opportunity to network with other marketing and communications colleagues from across the NCF membership, but it’s a chance to draw on the wealth of knowledge and expertise from our expert speakers. We have a packed agenda with key updates, showcases, knowledge sharing and an interactive workshop, plus a chance for you to have your say on the topics most important to you.
In the morning we’ll hear from our hosts – Salesforce is the world’s leading customer relationship management technology, helping organisations around the globe build and improve their customer relationships. In 1999 they pioneered cloud-based CRM and today they’re helping organisations of all sizes reimagine their business for the world of AI.
In our session at Salesforce Tower, the Salesforce team will present their vision for not only the wider AI landscape, but how nonprofits and impact organisations can safely and intelligently begin their journey with integrating these tools into their team’s day-to-day operations. The focus will not only be on helping the individuals you serve, but in assisting the talented and driven members of your respective teams to create the highest level of impact.
In the afternoon, we’ll be joined by Edna Petzen, an experienced communications professional and NCF Consultant, for an engaging crisis communications workshop tailored specifically for marketing and communications professionals.
In this 90-minute session, you will work in small groups to explore realistic scenarios – including service failures, safeguarding issues, cyber-attacks and leadership scandals – to help you develop practical response strategies that address both external media management and internal communication processes. This hands-on workshop will offer actionable tools to help you respond confidently when crises arise. Attendees are encouraged to share examples from their own experiences to impart valuable lessons to colleagues.
We’ll also have a detailed legal update from Rumandeep Dhariwal, Anthony Collins Solicitors, and a policy update from Liz Jones, NCF.
