Day 6

Today we have two inspiring stories from both Sanctuary Supported Living and The Royal Naval Benevolent Trust!

Empowering Independence: A Celebration of Sanctuary Supported Living’s Impactful Journey with Residents and Dedicated Staff

Watch a celebration video of what we do at Sanctuary Supporting Living. This video showcases the people that make Sanctuary Supported Living services special – both the residents and staff. It shows the impact we have on the people we support and the positive, fun work environment we offer – where our teams make a difference every day supporting people on their pathways for independence.

Reflecting in Remembrance: Unveiling the Memorial Garden at Sanctuary Supported Living’s Baskeyfield House
The memorial garden project at Sanctuary Supported Living’s Baskeyfield House began in 2021, after residents at the retirement community said that they would like to have somewhere peaceful to sit and remember their loved ones, friends and neighbours lost during the Covid pandemic. Read the story in full when we officially opened the new memorial garden.
Jack and Jill Nursery visit Admiral Jellicoe House

Each term youngsters from Jack and Jill Pre-school visit the resident at AJH. They have a wonderful time away from the school and our residents love interacting with them with lots of activities.

Spooky Faces and Pumpkins at Admiral Jellicoe House

During October residents are Adm Jellicoe House got into the spirit of ghosts and ghouls and all things Halloween, from pumpkin painting to very scary faces. Frankie really was a scary image (thanks to a filter) and Margaret painted a fab pumpkin.
