The role of a Care Technologist is a new role in Adult Social Care that is designed to bridge the gap between traditional care and support and modern technology.  

The Care Technologist role was created and piloted by Scottish Care, and now being developed nationally by the National Care Forum, this programme equips adult social care professionals with the skills, confidence and practical tools to identify, implement and support technology that enhances choice, independence, wellbeing and connection.
