NCF team takes on Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge to raise money for care Workers’ Charity

A team from NCF is taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks trek to raise money for the Care Workers’ Charity in September. Laurie Monaghan, Policy and Consultancy Officer, Nathan Jones, Senior Policy and External Affairs Lead and Finn Turner-Berry, Policy, Research & Projects Officer will be donning their walking boots and aiming to raise a fundraising total of £1,860.

Here’s how donations can help our care workers:

£5 – Could help a care worker in times of hardship
£10 – Could help towards specialist equipment for
a retired care worker
£25 – Could help fund essential white goods for
someone who’s had to flee domestic violence
£50 – Could help towards costs of essential home
repairs or maintenance
£100 – Could help towards unexpected funeral
costs for a loved one

If you’re able to, please make a donation here https://www.justgiving.com/page/national-care-forum and keep an eye out for further fundraising activities to be announced!
