Not-for-profit quality care for over 25 years

Background

Formally constituted in 2003, and built on more than 10 years experience as the Care Forum, the National Care Forum has been promoting quality care through the not-for-profit care sector for 29 years and has become a leading voice in the sector.

The NCF is governed by our Board of Directors, who are elected by the membership, and assisted by the NCF staff team, headed by our Chief Executive Officer, Professor Vic Rayner OBE.

We keep our members up to date with news and developments in the care sector and provide opportunities to meet and share ideas and best practise through our regular forum meetings, annual conferences and events, membership benchmarking surveys and reports and the now legendary weekly updates.

NCF is dedicated to representing members and voicing member concerns to the decision makers. We ensure member interests are represented at all levels and are in constant contact with government departments, politicians and the media to ensure your message gets across. Together we have a stronger voice! See our news and policy pages for an indication of recent activity where we represent members at local, national and international levels.

Take a look at our NCF Team page and get to know us! Do get in contact with any of the team.

The National Care Forum is a company limited by guarantee with no share capital and a not for profit ethos enshrined in our Articles of Association. NCF derives the majority of our income from membership fees and related services to members.
