Belong at Home domiciliary care services in both Wigan and Atherton feature in a list of top 10 home care providers in the North West. The list, compiled by homecare.co.uk each year, recognises providers of at-home care as opposed to residential care. Belong at Home services are operated from Belong’s state-of-the-art care villages across the North West.
Homecare.co.uk issued the list as part of their ‘Top 10 Awards’ 2017, which highlight the most recommended home care providers in different regions of the UK. The list is based on reviews of the services submitted on the homecare.co.uk website by relations of service users. Both Belong at Home Atherton and Belong at Home Wigan achieved an average review score of 9.9 (out of a maximum of 10) for the past year. A top 10 list is produced for each region of the UK.
Online reviewers were asked to say how likely they would be to recommend Belong at Home’s services. All of the people who reviewed Belong at Home Atherton and Belong at Home Wigan responded with, ‘Extremely Likely’ – the best rating possible.
Tracy Paine, Operations Director for Belong, said: “We are very pleased to have two Belong villages feature in this year’s list of Top 10 Home Care Providers in the North West by homecare.co.uk. It’s particularly uplifting because the list is based on reviews by people who engage with the services. It’s an affirmation of Belong’s progressive approach to home care provision and a tribute to our staff, who ensure we consistently deliver our high standards of care.”
Unlike conventional domiciliary care, Belong at Home offers personalised home care and tailors services to the needs of individuals. This might involve staff helping people with domestic chores, to attend appointments or to go on days out. Customers are supported by a consistent home care team and Belong has rigorous selection, allocation and training processes to promote positive relationship-based care. Staff are also highly qualified to provide specialist support for people with dementia.
Belong at Home services operate from state-of-the-art care villages. The villages incorporate apartments for independent living and 24-hour care households and have a central hub with facilities including a hair salon, bistro and gym, which can be accessed by the village community as well as local people.
