NCF members: pay, terms and conditions surveyA detailed annual look at pay rates, enhancements, bonus, agency costs and pension contributions for 50 posts specifically relevant to care and support services. With 12 years' worth of workforce intelligence there is a wealth of information from which members can benchmark. As one of the largest pay surveys in the care sector, the willingness to share is a great strength of the National Care Forum.
The latest confidential report (November 2017) was based on responses from 66 participating organisations, of which 46 were NCF members , providing services to 60,000 people across the UK. Participants gave detailed information for 50 staff posts.
The aims of the study were to build a picture of reward in the social care sector and to support organisations in developing further their reward offer through enabling organisations to compare their performance with their selected peers and to pinpoint their strengths and areas for development.
The study was undertaken by Agenda Consulting in partnership with NCF and VODG (Voluntary Organisations Disability Group).
We appreciate the time and effort participating members give to the project and supporting the activity of the NCF HR Forum. The results are to assist members to inform management decisions. As always we welcome comments and feedback to ensure that the survey provides the information members want.
