NCF Forums: Finance

The purpose of the Finance Forum is to share best practice and knowledge on financial systems and procedures. It will analyse and review topical finance and systems issues. It will also act as the specialist group to review relevant legislation on such matters as VAT and tax.

Colleagues with responsibility for property and IT have participated on specific occasions. This has contributed a different focus and has been welcomed.

The NCF Finance Forum has recently discussed the issues of rising insurance premiums across the care sector. We decided to work with our industry partners to better understand the current situation and a short report is now available in the members only resources page.

For meetings and more resources see the green tabs on the left. NCF members are welcome to send representatives to join this group. For further details please email us.

NCF agrees financial and key indicator benchmarking research with Carterwood

Ben Hartley of Carterwood presented to the NCF Finance Forum on 23 October 2014 on a proposal for a revenue and costs benchmarking exercise. It is intended that data will be collected by mid-January with the analysis undertaken by the end of March and a report produced in time for the NCF Annual Conference in May 2015. The Finance Forum supported the proposal and further details will be sent to all members shortly.
